Our Club
Buddina United Soccer Club was officially established in 2004. We are a part of the broader Sunshine Coast Churches League. The SCCSA was established in 1974 and became incorporated in 1988. The SCCSA was established to provide affordable soccer across the Sunshine Coast.
The clubs main focus is to provide a fun and welcoming environment for all of our players in a safe and nurturing environment. We aim for fair play for all players despite skill level. We are here to provide opportunities for your children to grow both socially and physically.
Our home ground is situated in the beautiful Brightwater Estate in Mountain Creek right next to Brightwater State School. We are lucky enough to have a number of fields on our home grounds with 2 small fields for the U6 to U8 ages, 2 medium sized fields for the U9 and U10 ages groups and a full-size field for the U11s right up to the Seniors.
In 2020 we have close to 260 juniors registered across all age groups from U6s right through to U15/16s. We have children playing from schools’ right across the Sunshine Coast with the majority of our players coming from Brightwater and Buddina State Schools. In addition to our amazing juniors, we also have 2 over 35 men’s teams playing on a Friday night, of which many of the player are dads of our junior players.
Over the past few years our club has grown in leaps and bounds both in numbers, but also in the success of our teams. We have a great reputation within the wider Sunshine Coast community that we are very proud. Each year we find that the majority of our players return for another season pumped and ready to give it everything they have. We are also thrilled to have the all the new families on board in the club and look forward to getting to know them throughout the seasons to come. Without the support from our families, both new and old, who put up their hands and take on managing and coaching positions, and offer up their time in both the canteen and on the fields, our club would not be the success that it is today and our children would not have the opportunities to grow and excel like they currently do!
